worm type thing

hi Everyone

Here's my prob. I have these little worm type things on my strawberries and my potatoes they look like they have a segmented body and curl up when disturbed they are aprox 2-4mm in length have a near transparent body. Any help would be appreciated.

The might be some kind of enchytraeid worm - they're small pale segmented worms.

Earth worm hatchlings tend to curl up but you could try googling for Fungus gnat larvae and horse hair worms.
