Dead Robinia
« on: August 20, 2009, 16:28:00 »
I have begun to cut down my Robinia which finally died this year. It was about 25 ft high and began to to look very short of leaf last year ! Any one have any idea  what causes a beautiful tree to suddenly expire? ???  ???

I lost my robinia last year also.  It was 14 years old and a lovely tree, I recall we had a drought early in the year and I think that  may have been the cause.  Have not replaced it in case there is some evil harbouring in the soil.
