« on: June 29, 2009, 22:41:49 »
Noticed a few of my giant onions are producing flower stalks....they still very small onions, do I have to dig the flowering ones up, or can I still keep them in the ground....:) :)

I remember this last year somewhere, but cant find it...LOL.

So please can someone remind me.. x

we snapped them but left them in the ground, don't get any bigger but they get used as we need an onion  :)

This very thing happened to one of my onions yesterday and took the good advice and snapped the offending bulb off, :)

As said, snap off, as it will not grow any more or store.    :(       ;D ;D ;D
