moving fruit bushes
« on: June 25, 2009, 21:37:17 »
hi ya I've just bought a cranberry shrub/bush.  Got my raised bed all ready and want to know if moving my blueberry bush from where its been living happily for the last year and a half. To be in the same bed as the cranberry will shock it into dying on me. Or Will it be OK, or should i leave it till autumn

It's awfully warm to be moving a shrub at the moment. If you don't have to move it, leave it. If you absolutely must, then be prepared to water and spray at least twice a day for some weeks if you want to keep it.

I'd leave it until the dormant season.  :-X
