harvested today
« on: June 23, 2009, 18:25:33 »

This is the first time I have managed to grow calabrese. This is Chevalier from Simpsons.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Shirl - mine looks a bit like that!  The heads are a lot smaller than commercial ones aren't they?  We harvested 3 from my 4 year old's plot last Friday.  He was so excited - he even took his "pet broccoli" to bed with him!!!

Are you doing the same ?? ;D ;D ;D

Never grown calabrese, closest I got was PSB. You've inspired me, putting that on my todo list for next year. It looks super.
Tony.

Sow it, grow it, eat it.
