Invisible Kale
« on: June 11, 2009, 17:59:59 »
I sowed some Kale a while ago and while one type came up well I was very disappointed that nothing has appeared of the other.

Then suddenly I noticed the plants, the leaves were so dark that I had not seen them against the soil.

I was rather disappointed at the number of seeds in the packet, but now they are coming up I have loads.  How much kale did I think we needed.  Half or even a quarter of the packet would have been more thaan enough.

I think we've all done that one. I sowed 12 Purple Sprouting Brocoli seeds, thnking some wouldn't germinate, and eventually some wouldn't make it to the final planting stage. Well i planted 6 out today, the other 5 need another home! And I still think 6 of them is OTT  ;D
