Well it works, but only with the photos from OH's camera and not the ones from my new camera of the allotment etc.  I suppose it must be the size, or whatever. Anyone help me please??? before I go back to using my old Brownie camera and getting the photographs printed at the chemist, must be old age, and I worked for 15 years as word processing supervisor and desk top publisher but it is all just too much for me.

Oh no, the hard day at the allotment was underneath me asleep, and didn't come out, not the cat asleep.  Poor Zorba had to have him put to sleep due to illness and old age.  Oh well once I have got the hang of it sure it will be easy.

What camera have you, B?
How are you trying to download your pics? Via the camera or by inserting the card in your 'puter?
Where are you storing your pics?
How are you trying to put them on here?
Ken.

They are stored on my comuter under my pictures.  The ones that won't appear are dimensions 3264 x 2448 Camera Kenox S860/Samsung S806 JPEG 1.35MB.  The one that appeared seems to be smaller and was taken by OH camera, so I paid my £10 and know how to do that bit.  Will keep trying.

Pics from my camera far too big.  3M.  Can only insert 300k.  I have been using Paint to resize them.

PS make sure you save as another name so you do not overwrite you original.

Right click on a pic. A menu will pop up. In there is 'Resize pics'. This will give you options. Select the second from top. This will save your pictures in the same folder without changing the originals. The new ones will be named something like,
DSC123 Medium. This is an ideal size for insertion into A4A and will also give viewers the capability to enlarge.

Any prob's with that, shout again.
Ken.

I did it, it obviously works, just the size of the photographs, have to remember how it did it now.  Thanks everyone.
