anyone got any tips for buying seed potatoes now, like where from and should i chit them first

You're way too late! Seed potatoes are planted from mid-March through April for harvesting from now through to early October depending on the variety.

could try some for christmas, most of the seed companies do them but mainly for container growing , don't articularly like T&M but as an example

Google have some links on the side of my blogspot and did have one for Suttons about late seed potatoes. I am not sure if it is still there but if you google "Suttons" you would find it.They change the links on blogspots almost daily.

I went to Wyvale in Crowland yesterday and they had quite a few first earlies, second earlies and lates that they were selling cheep.
