Autumn and Winter Peas/Beans
« on: May 19, 2009, 10:24:17 »
Was wondering how late in the season I could sow peas/beans and get a reasonable crop through the winter - like at christmas.
Have any of you sown peas in September/October/November or later?

What vareties, where are you (North/South) and what kind of crop?

I've sown peas in July and Beans (French) in August but both stop growing by the end of October or earlier if frosty... :-\
