Space from earthing up
« on: May 16, 2009, 16:08:33 »
I have earthed up my potatoes and this has left a gap between the potatoes and a narrow path then a space reserved for courgettes.  Can anyone give me some advice on what I could grow there.  It is quite long and about 9 inches wide.  But I think that both the courgettes and the potatoes have an damping effect on weeds and presume also on anything else.  No much will grow near a courgette.

This;

Will look like this in a couple of months time;

So to plant anything in between the rows is a bit of a waste of time.
