It was such a rush trying to clear in time to plant everything that this year ive basically just thrown everything in lol

next year i want raised bed and then works lol

thank you so much both :)

all together including making the chicken pen and putting up the shed it took 3 months we didnt work on it everyday  cuz of the weather
i did most of the digging and clearing in the past month  and im so proud as i did all the digging myself hubby has a bad back :( so its a real achivement for me im totally new to growing but loving every min

Well done! and if it were me I would forget about the raised beds! but then again; thats me 8)

I notice no one around you seems to have them, save your money and invest in good seed and manure/fertilsers instead!

I can hardly believe it . Your plot looks a lot better than some folks on our site who have had their plots for years. I'm not a supporter of raised beds either. The excercise I get from digging across the plot is better than going to any gym.
