MALVERN SPRING SHOW
« on: May 05, 2009, 10:20:22 »
As my caravan is very close to the three counties showground I thought I might go and take a look.

Went on the website........Thursday pre book only £28.

Cheaper later in the week.

I think this is such a cheek.Presume Thursday the press will be there and all the gardening celebs, think you have to pay through the nose to suck up to the celebs.

As the gardening mags are full of save money tips and advice it is a pity they do no practise what they preach.

Money grubbers grrr......would rather spend the money on the lottie :)

Would you spend £28 to get in or is it just me????

Going on Saturday for 11th year in a row!  Can't wait1   ;D :D ;D

Wouldn't pay that amount for Thursday even if I could go in the week (I am a teacher so not possible anyway!).

Even though Malvern is an excellent show, at £16 entry + £10 petrol, id rather spend the £26 on something special at the local GC instead.

Haven't been since Autumn 2006, but might go to the spring one next year.

Well I had a brilliant day.  The show gardens were the best I have seen at Malvern (although I think the judges must have been on drugs when they awarded best in show which was very worthy but definately not a brilliant garden). It was fab weather and not as busy as previous years .  All in all worth the £14 ticket!   ;D

I'm going tomorrow, the gardening group I am a member of has a stand and I get a free ticket for helping man the stand!!  ;D I LOVE it!!! The best show ever and certainly better than Chelsea!!

I agree the press day isn't worth £28 Betula.
