Victorian plants.

My daughter has reached the grand old age of 40 & has suddenly developed a love of gardening. She would like to redesign the front garden & fancies doing it with victorian style planting. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive book on the subject for her.

'The Victorian Flower Garden' is good, but obviously it largely covers what was happening on the great estates. Victorian gardening covered as wide a range as any other period, so she needs to look around and see what aspect of it appeals to her.
