I am a
silly *****
I mixed up all my tomato plants so I don't know which are which, i.e. bush or tall, etc. Does anyone know if there are any ways of recognising one from the other as I don't know which sideshoots to pinch out.

There's nothign much to stop you growing them all as bushes.... as soon as you get a recognisable truss you'll know anyway..... unless like me you grow several different varieties for the same purpose (I've got both San Marzano and Roma)

You should be able to separate the tomato-leaved ones from the potato-leaved ones, that might be a start.

Thank you everyone for your advice. The varieties I have mixed up include:
Cherry Fox
Brandy Wine Pink
Matina
Saint Pierre
Gardeners Delight
Zuckertraube
Would it be advisable to pinch out the sideshoots of all the taller growing ones?
