Did the wet weather mean there won't be any pics? :(

Well I didn't take any...
got the camera as far as the shed... but it drowned...  ::)

OH brought me hot soup once, but several coffees, and a complete change of clothes. It did stop raining at @3:30pm... the water is on for the bath, I've had a beer and it will be joined by another shortly!!  :) The gills are healing over now..

This is not fair :-[ The only rain we have had for three weeks was a sharp shower this pm. The path is now dry just to tell you how much we had. I've tried alsorts, washing the windows, buying a new watering can but nothing works :'(

Lovely to see such a variety of plots, it's a great site which is so well looked after. Good to put faces to some names, and I acquired some plants which I have absolutely no room for. Saddad, you were a complete hero on the plant stall, I hope sales picked up in the afternoon. I made loads of notes on interesting things as I walked round, just about readable once I'd squelched home! Hope for better weather in September......Thanks again for all your work.

Bought 3 hosta's and a Millet. Saw the famous log cabin.

Blimey you got away lightly there my girl! And what about Manics, did she need a flatbed truck for all her goodies?

Good to hear you all had a great day despite the weather and well done all for turning up/organising etc

Not one of mine....I did put in several big banana pepper plants though.

I really enjoyed meeting the A4A folk yesterday, at one time we had taken over the tea tent! Such a shame about the rain, my mum deserves a medal for driving up from London and back again just to support us bless her. She had a snooze in the shed in the afternoon as well! ;D

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

To a Spurs fan.....! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) She's a saarf Londoner! She probably would have n'all bless her! ;D

Having a senior moment earlier, I did put some Orange Banana tomato plants in the sale, the fruit of which is so fragrant I have been known to delay eating them because I like the smell so much......honestly, what you end up admitting to on this forum...... ::) ;D

Hector, the fruits are quite solid, not watery/jelly like inside and therefore ideal for making tomato paste. They are cordon plants so quite tall, I confess I have not tried them outdoors but there is no reason not to although you run the same blight risks as any other variety in the UK.
