when you go past those
this only works if you have come round the ring road and down from the A38/Littleover side... if you are coming from the south west *( past the Showcase Cinema complex) when you see the allotments on the Ring-Road you have overshot.....  :-X

My OH will also be around for part of the day and 'doesn't do plants'...but he can talk about sheds! ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Just to add, if anyone from North West is going, I would happily pay for Green Tiger toms and collect from them at a later date :) I can't go as my daughters are in a T Kwon Do grading today.....they are practicing last minute Korean instructions as we speak.

We have Thunder and Lightening, heavy rain and plagues of frogs (ok I lied about the last bit.. so far!) The three sisters (Macbeth) would be right at home..

Disappointed. Managed to twist my ankle last night and don't think I could manage to hop down those stoned avenues :'(

Hope it goes well

Just got back from Derby. Twas lovely to meet Mal and Ray(manics) Deb P Saddad, Fork and Pippy. The samosa's were lovely. Bought 3 hosta's and a Millet. Saw the famous log cabin. Even sat on the settee. It's just a shame that the weather was so awful. The motorists were still flying along in spite of the heavy rain. We took our time so as to get there in one piece. Ower Tones feet were soaked and Rays waterproof pockets were full of water. It was well worth the effort.Lovely country allotment site. Will definitely go in September. Thanks Deb and Dave for the hospitality

Saddad and DebP worked so hard. Saddad was soaked standing on the plant stall.I bet he will have cold after getting wet It's such a shame when the weather spoils the day

It sounds a great day (apart from the weather!!!).

Wish I lived nearer - would love to come, from what I saw of the site in the earlier photos.

Any photos this time, for those of us stuck in the remotest south??

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at the Littleover site and A4All for a lovely couple of hours at the site!   :)  I was open mouthed at DebP's plot and the fabulous shed - a tremendous adventure playground I bet :D!

Thank you Debs for the elephant garlic - I shall be nose in book to figure out how to grow it later ;D.

...and I hope someone got David a hot bath and some hot soup or someething afterwards as he was drenched.  Hope he has warmed up anyway.  Everyone made such a great effort.

Lovely to meet you all and see some wonderful plots - so interesting how every grower and site is so unique and artistic :).  Loved those purple flowered beans too Debs!
