ok am i too sensitive or what ?

New to chicken keeping, birds look like they have settled can go to bed on thier own eating well drinking lots so all looks great!

So why so sensitive I hear you asking they all squeeze into 1 nest box! so 1 goes in 2 on top side by side then the fourth one scratches and squeezes to get in too! ;D  there is plenty of room for all to sleep peacefully so why do they have the need to 'bunk up'
The goal in life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body,

but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting.

"Holy smoke! what a ride".

Mine sometimes do that!  Maybe it is reassurance or something like that?!

I only have two at the mo and they sometimes squeeze into one nest box!

Well I did wonder if it was just a settling in thing but they seem fine in all other respects!

we have 16 and they all try to lay in 2 nest boxes, seem to like the darkest corners, maybe they want privacy ?  ;D
