 :)

I thought I didn`t, but ...
The word "Plotment" is bandied around quite a lot.

plus you`ve all seen me write, "My number one plot", which is my first plot and is actually numbered 21,
"The top plot" is higher up the slope, actually number 28, Also known as "The field" on account of its size,
Then theres my half-plot number 22A known as "The pumpkin patch", because thats where I grow my squash.

So I have to admit, they do have names of a kind,

And by thoughts of you...

I think of it as "My Little Piece of Heaven On Earth" or if I haven't weeded for a while, "The Wildlife Haven" (or for a really long while "The Jungle")

However in conversation it is always t' lotteh! as in "I'm going down t' lotteh and I don't know when I'll be back"  8) :) hee hee

:-[OK - you can all jump on me for this one - we call ours "Over the Rainbow" and we have even decided to name beds after the characters from the film -we're in a magical world when we are up on our plot and its a fantastic feeling digging and planning to grow your own. Corny I know - but we love our allotment.
love it,we have acquired some yellow flags of late,so are establishing a yellow brick road, fairy tale stuff x
when the going gets tough, the tough go digging
