plant sale and beer
« on: April 18, 2009, 10:45:53 »
Our lottie is having a plant sale in the near future, so I thought I'd celebrate the occasion by making beer.  Should be ready just in time - just stuck it in the barrel ready to go in the shed.  Btw I'm not intending to sell it.

I've not gone as far as to taste my brew before sticking it in the barrel for the secondary fermentation before, but I was surprised at how mature it was - a green beer definitely but easily drinkable!

It's also 4.4%

Since I've been plagued by rats this year, I'm going to call it 'poisoned rat'

Bizarre you should say that, I'm actually in Derby in early May - got a course up there (something to do with project management) but I'm afraid I won't have any time to socialise as there's an exam at the end, then I've got to drive all the way back home again :- (

I live down a short lane called Klokkervaenget, which is Danish for "Bell Ringer's Close". The church is up the end on the road.

My home brew pale ale is is called "campanula", and my my garden shed is also known as "The Bell".  ;D
