Hi Jeannine, reading about John antics, makes me so proud that the hospital were able to so much for him in such a short time. It must have been a very worrying few hours for you and I wish you both well.

I actually think its rather romantic that you are crossing the Atlantic on your Golden wedding anniversary to begin another new chapter in your life, I wish you both well and look forward to your updates when you are settled, lots of love and good wishes x x x

Have a safe journey and enjoy your anniversary in the air ;D

There will be many of us thinking of you both on Monday and no doubt gazing at any passing planes wondering whether you are on it. :D

Looking forward to hearing from you when you are all settled.

Happy anniversary - we'll all drink a toast for you both!

Have a good journey. (And phone to say you got home OK, as my in-laws always used to tell us....)

I have been passing on your sweetcorn info. It is so useful. I wish you health and energy.  You have contributed hugely to our knowledge here, and I hope you make a successful new life and continue to tell us stuff about growing squashes etc etc ......

Happy Anniversary to you both for tomorrow.  I hope you have a good day.  Of course, your special day will be much longer than normal as you will be able to celebrate it for those extra hours!  Have a good flight.

I am sorry to hear that John was taken ill but so pleased that they were able to fit a pacemaker so quickly.  I had one fitted in November and everything is ticking over beautifully so hopefully John will also have a new lease of life.

You will soon be back with family and friends in Canada and look forward to hearing from you when you are more settled and have Internet access.

Love to you both from Pauline  x

just to echo what everyone else has said: so glad to hear that John was treated so quickly and that he's on the mend - it must have been a terrible shock for you both. congrats on your anniversary and I hope you had an uneventful flight and are settling into your new home back in Canada. looking forward to seeing you back here soon!
take care xxx
