Seeds in a propagator
« on: April 01, 2009, 21:25:35 »
My OH was given a propagator today - how pleased was I !! Unfortunately, no instructions.

I have sown a few seeds (well ok! a lot of seeds  ;D ) but was wondering - at what point do I remove them?

Any advice on their care after that would be great.

Thanks for your help

Mary

I remove the cover as soon as i see them popping thier heads out and pot them on as soon as they are big enough to handle the seed leaf
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful

Is it a heated one? If so youmay find it gets too hot for some seedlings so keep an eye on them and make sure they don't get too tall too quickly!
