Sunburn or Powdery Mildew
« on: March 22, 2009, 18:16:34 »
My new Kiwi plant has constant sun most of the day, and have noticed that White patches have formed on the largest leaves.

The white patches are see through if that makes sense.  I cant see any sign of insects.
The kiwi is covered with fleece at night.

It looks really healthy otherwise.

Could it be sunburn??  What are the signs of sunburnt leaves?

Thanks in advance :)

Sunburn!!

The sun over the past few days has been responsible for that. This is why I have had most of my tiniest seedlings in the shade for the past week.

They will come out again tomorrow because the weather has been forecast as cold & grey for the forseeable future so these will have to be in a position to get maximum light.

A bit of a pain I know but it is necessary!!
