Chinese Cabbage

I am sure someone told me you could cut this at the base and it can srout leaves but can't see this in any searces, am I going crackers?

If you cut a cross in brassicas they sprout leaves, I think it's on the cauliflower thread. Not sure about chinese cabbage. Give it a go, you will soon see if there is any new growth.

They probably will come again. Every time I leave the root in the ground from anything, lettuce to cabbage, The thing seems to start regrowing  I do not put crosses in them either.

Willing to bet that if I want it to re-grow it wont though.lol
