bramleys - good storers?

In a bid to try and use up last year's harvest I realised I still had bramleys in store in the shed! They had been wrapped in newspaper. Still in great condition! I have made up a batch of apple chutney spiced with cumin and saffron. ;D

We've kept them in the cellar, unwrapped, well into the Spring.
They get heavily coated with their own oil.
