bramleys - good storers?
« on: March 08, 2009, 20:28:32 »
In a bid to try and use up last year's harvest I realised I still had bramleys in store in the shed! They had been wrapped in newspaper. Still in great condition! I have made up a batch of apple chutney spiced with cumin and saffron.  ;D

We've kept them in the cellar, unwrapped, well into the Spring.

They get heavily coated with their own oil.
