Just a wee word of caution, though.

Dan Gosling started the website when he took on his plot about a year ago (?), but now has another interest, if you look at his home page http://www.gozplot.co.uk/.

As far as I know, he's not added anything new to his allotment stuff in six months, and there's a fair bit "under construction".

Some other sites which are regularly updated

Salsify and Scorzonera  (I declare an interest - it's mine!) -  http://www.keirg.freeserve.co.uk/diary/

Paul's Garden World  - loads of information - http://www.powen.freeserve.co.uk/

For anybody who wants to follow up on a library of links, have a look at the News/Internet Links thread

All best - Gavin

I feel a little guilty about this, but what the h..l - I'm still laughing about this page.  Would you like advice on

  • "A good recipe for hummingbird nectar"?
  • Dealing with Silverfish and Woodworm?
  • Or even adding "1 litre of liquid nitrogen (I don't know how readily available this is around the world); this can be used on the pile"?

No, I am not taking the p..s - these are some of the hints and tips for UK allotmenteers offered on http://www.allotments-uk.com/guide_allotment_hints_and_tips.asp.

Hummingbird nectar?  Either global warming or plate tectonics are moving an awful lot faster than we thought.  Don't say you weren't warned!

All best - Gavin
