I found marigolds deter the bugs but the nasturtiums attracted them to breed on instead of my plants?

Feverfew is great with carrots. Just rub the feverfew leaves when thinning out carrots and it disguises the carrot smell. No flies and no maggots.

Tagetes are also popular here in Denmark. People think tagetes protects carrots and onions.
