I sowed summer and winter leeks, pak soi, 2 varieties of auberiges, marigolds, sweet peas, 2 varieties of sweet peppers, cape gooseberries and a bush tomato.

Resowed red and yellow pointed sweet peppers. The seeds are old and difficult to germinate. But I bought them in Greece and Spain and I like to grow my own souvenirs.
Also bean Ilerda. I never got one to germinate outdoors, so I try to get them germinated inside  this year. The first batch still rotted, but I will persevere. Victory will be mine one day, and then I’ll eat plates and plates of fresh beans!

Hooray! have now sowed sweet peas, onion sets, tomatoes, chillis, marigolds, basil, tobacco flowers, purple sprouting and normal broccoli and sunflowers. Obviously all indoors except the onions. Going to do leeks tonight.

Will do some early peas outside at the weekend if it's warmed up a bit.

Feel very reconnected with the soil now.

I really want to plant my spuds, they are chitting nicely on my windowledge.  Normally I don't plant until Easter, but it seems so far away, and they seem so ready.

I'm in Manchester, should I wait a bit?

I assisted grandson Archie 2 and 1/2, plant his rocket potato in a bucket for our horticulture club competition. It is up to him now to keep it watered. He loves watering the plants and himself so in for a pretty wet time ::) ::)

Non-edibles! Cosmos, verbena bonariensis, french marigold, nemophila, pansy, teasel and sweet peas. I know it's maybe a bit early for some (and a bit late for sweet peas?) but they are all leftover seed so no great loss if they don't work. It was too windy for the allotment and I had to do something!
