Comp Extra: Announcement:
« on: February 17, 2009, 19:38:00 »
The 'Anything goes' winning suggestion is proving very popular. Pic's are coming in fast and furious.

As has been pointed out, not everyone has a photo that fits the winning suggestion every time, so we're adding a regular 'Anything Goes' cat. with a time/period base.

The first one kicks off in a couple of weeks with a request of your favourite photo of 2008 with your own caption of not more than 5 words. Who knows, your originality with your caption might just tip the balance?

Don't send anything in yet, wait for the request, please.

If it's well supported, we'll follow that one with a request for your best 'Anything Goes' photo for January - February, etc.

The suggestions voting is also very well supported so will continue in it's present form.
Cheers, Ken.

I don't know if it's EJ's recent pic's on plastic carrier bags made from .. well, plastic carrier bags or the 'Sumffink from Noffink' thread that has created the latest  flood of PM's and E's requesting a Pic Comp on 'Home-made' articles.
The interest seems to be there, but should it be a competition with a pic of the finished article or not a comp but a series of pics showing how?
Maybe a comp with the winner showing a series of pics afterwards??

Over to you. How would you like 'Home-made' to work??

Don't post anything yet, but watch out for it in the near future and start taking the pics.
Cheers, Ken.

i think a series of photos with a pic of the end product would be a nice idea.
