My Colette, which I planted in the open ground at the end of February, started flowering a few days ago.  I firkled a plump one for my friend's grandson when he visited on Wednesday and she said he enjoyed eating it for his dinner.  I'm away for a week now and hope to dig some up on return.

Well the big dig up date was the weekend of Trevor D and Tony Blokes birthday 5/7 of June but if I leave some of them for another two weeks I think some of them will get too big for new spuds so I'm going to dig some up on Monday because the outlaws are staying so I thought I'd dig some up for our dinner.    :o    ???     ;D ;D ;D

Talking of taste, I pulled some newies out of the ground and toy tub and had enough for a meal for four, melted butter and mint sauce on them, they melted in my mouth, and it was thumbs up from the outlaws to, guess what we're aving for din dins tomorrow. PS OH steamed them before I could get home and take a piccy.  :P :P :P       ;D ;D ;D

Tone, I have a camera, but she dropped off some carpet earlier and took the spuds home and they were steamed by the time I got home, but I still don't know how to post piccies. My meal for four was from one plant in the ground and one in the tub, but I didn't disturb them too much some hopefully there a good few more to come off them yet.     ;D ;D ;D
