Our unheated greenhouse is to the north of our houise, in shade during mid winter, but in sun during the summer (height of sun increases during summer) if it's not too close to your house, it should be o.k.,(unless you live in a towerblock) ;D ;D ;D

I have an unheated lean-to greenhouse on a north-east facing garage wall and shaded by a tree in summer and still manage to grow some stuff, so you should be ok. Not that I wouldn't prefer mine to be in a better position, mind you! ;D
