It does appear lost but maybe not in space. I've not had a further reply from Spandangled and Jitterbug has not logged in for a while. Shame really as I was looking forward to my first seed swap!

So annoying!! Spandangled was the last one to have it and now seems to have disappeared ?!

Why can't people just do the thing properly? I've been involved in seed swaps before and they've always gone well, such a shame for those who were looking forward to it.

Maybe connection and/or ISP problems ?
We use Tiscali and our Broadband has been 'down' since Sunday morning 5 April, only coming 'up' now and then for a few hours, today the best since Sunday, been running since 07:30 hrs .... which has now put the mockers on it  ;D

Hope parcel shows up again  :(

fingers crossed

Hi Guys

Sorry to have been away for so long but life has been very hectic.  have managed to catch up and am currently on a fortnight's leave.  Sorry to hear that the parcel is still missing.  I still have not heard from spangled and although I do have a list of all the people I posted it to,  I did not keep a list of the actual internet names - only the real ones.  By my calculation it went out to four people successfully?  Can everyone who received it confirm to me.  Just give me the starting letters of the street address I can will be able to tick off.

i will sort out another lovely parcel for all the others who were so disappointed when the parcel went to ground and we can still have another lovely swap.  I have planted most of what i want and still have a nice selection of extra seeds that I am sure someone could find useful.  Also will stop me from feeling so guilty about this seed adiction I seem to have. :-X  The parcel might not be as varied as the first one but there should be some good things in it.   ;D

Will be able to post the parcel by the end of the week hopefully.   My son is going in for an operation tomorrow morning so if things are not too hectic I will try make up asap.  Will let everyone know when it is on its way.

Cheer up guys ! it will soon be on its way again - no-one is going to spoil our fun.

Jitterbug, hopefully your parcel may nearly be back on track. Here is a copy of the email I received today from Spandangle (I've taken out names which I can pm to you)

Hi Emma,
Okay, mum phoned the collection office, it'd been returned. She's here this weekend and has brought it down. Apologies it's taken so long but she works 8.30 - 6.30 so it was hard to get to the post office. It was sent to C and I'm going to post it again to him on Tuesday as I'm off work and I'll send it recorded so it definitely gets there if you can get a message to him to say please look out for it that'd be fab.

Really sorry about all of this, I wasn't expecting it to be sent back so I didn't think to check with mum!

Can you let me know that he receives it, just to put my mind at rest,

Thanks

Spandangle

I received this email yesterday from Spandangle after I had emailed her to ask where the parcel had gone as she was the last person to have it ...

Hi Chris,
As I explained to JayB, it was sent to you, and has been returned to me because it wasn't collected from the collection office. Because I've just moved to Birmingham, I've had to get my mum to go and get it, but she works 8.30 - 6.30 so it's been a bit difficult for her. She's brought it down to Birmingham this weekend, and I'm going to post it again on Tuesday, so if you can look out for it and let me know when you receive it, that'd be a weight off my mind,

Thanks,
Spandangle

I NEVER received the parcel and NEVER had a note from delivery person asking me to collect the parcel from a collection office. I'm not impressed by this but very happy that Spandangle has finally found it after a couple of us have emailed her. I will look forward to a parcel now!!  ;D

I've had that happen to me repeatedly thanks to temoprary postmen. Round here they're not allowed to deliver anything which needs a knock on the door as they're so unreliable, but I still find the cards aren't always put through the door, and I've had several parcels disappear into thin air. On one occasion I had to go chasing down the street after some idiot to get a package out of him.

Hi Glosterwomble

O I am so pleased that the parcel has been found at last.  Fingers crossed we don't have any more hold ups.

Any luck yet with the parcel getting to you.  Is was posted last week so should be with you by now ?? ;D ;D
