I put some asparus roots in 2 weeks ago and they had just started to show there heads, i have them covered in fleece but should i be going down and clearing this snow off them or will they be alright?

keep them fleeced to be on the safe side, earth them up too. It's early to be showing shoots - are they deep enough? ??? ??? ???

were planted 20cm down as the pack said, will just have to hope i guess, but will earth up today, thanks.

They're pretty hardy, but I'm surprised to hear that they were showing that early. I'm going to put about three inches of autumn leaves on top of mine as a mulch, and I don't expect to see them for a couple of months yet!
