Light flakes here in South Birmingham.  Started about 1:30 pm.   I am with you Lorna.  Hate the cold.

We have had snow forecast for up here in Bonny but cold Scotland, we should have ours this afternoon and into Monday but so far it is a lovely day bit on the cold side, chickens are aroaming round the garden and making it a bigger mess then it was before I let them out.  Still snow will cover it all and make it look so nice.  Got plenty of food, in, fuel to keep us warm in case we get snowed in - exciting.
Regards Cindy

We've had flurries here but it's blowing very hard, my gloves were inadequate, hence here not there.

Went to the plot this mornin and worked for a couple of hours. Started snowing lightly but nowt to talk about. Coming down a bit heavier now here in Sutton Coldfield. Will just have to stay home tomorrow and get them parsnips all ready for the freezer

Nothing down my way yet, we rarely get it unless it comes in from the East, which this lot appears to be.  Plenty of freezing temperatures though, couple of weeks back the docks had ice floating in them, which is only the second time in ten years.  Fingers crossed we get some, the dogs/kids love it!  ;D

Hey no snow down here in sunny Cornwall  but heck the wind cuts you in two so not too keen to get digging today.
Can't wait for this year's asparagus. Roll on June.

snowing on/off in North Yorkshire.  started with occasional showers this morning, then heavier ones this pm.  laid (just a scattering) on the higher ground near me, but at my house it disappears...  At one point it was blizzard conditions on main road from Sutton Bank towards the coast, but this was very high.  Hopefully it will lay properly tonight  ;D

Just popped up to the plot to get rid of some compost material. It's bitterly cold with a very keen east wind - one couple just finished their digging and a 2 guys with bonfires!

The gritting lorry passed me as I drove home and now the snow's just starting. We don't want too much of it - it's our AGM tomorrow night!

(And a welcome from me, too DD. You'll like it here!)

Only a couple of flurries of snow today (one of them not so much falling as scuttling sideways because of the icy wind)...

But I'm looking at the weirdest sight right now. In an otherwise cloudless sunset sky, there is one large purple cloud with snow pouring out from under it. Very strange to see... Particularly since I suspect said snow is falling on Heathrow.  ::)
