Heritage Broad Beans - Comments Please
« on: January 28, 2009, 13:18:30 »
Am thinking of growing a couple of Heritage Broad Bean varieties, this year, both are new to me

I have grown Crimson Flowered in the past but fancy a try with Bowland's Beauty and Martock or maybe Gloster Bounty

Any tips/comments re growing and taste will be appreciated

thanks

I grew Martock for about a decade.. easy to grow, good flavour... tiny beans...
That's the problem have to pick loads to get a decent serving..

Tried Bowland Beauty but wasn't particularly successful.
