mystery insect time
« on: September 01, 2004, 22:20:32 »
O.K you wise ad wonderful folk, heres one for you:-
Have recently seen a new beetle/bug in my garden which i have been unable to identify, it looks somewhat like a cross between a shield bug and a ladybird with either a dark green or black top with cream spots around the edge with a light pinkish coloured underbelly and is currently to be seen on the buddlijha and chelone......

Any ideas to its identity and as to whether or not i should be concerned over its presence will be gratefully received
    Many thanks
Happy gardening, Robin x
