Had to read back to find out what the problem was.

What a load of fuss about nothing. Hooked in by a hooker -  if there was fault, it was the fault of all those who fell for it.

So sad that one severe frost in years of fine weather can put people off.  Where's the stamina of the great outdoor folk? Just put a coat on.

Yes - let's just trade on as ever.

Hooray for common sense!

Thank you Dan. And I don't think the "problem" could be summed up better than Tim did.

Hi all. As a newby here, I don't know what the 'problem' thread was about and I'm not about to try and find it. Just don't think that it's only the A4A forum that has problems. I seem to have read the same posts in this thread on other forums that I use, everyone wondering how and why it all started and wanting to get back to 'normal'. Sadly, that's the way the internet seems to be evolving. My first reaction when anything nasty starts happening in a thread is just to 'ignore', just don't go there, the fewer people who answer the flamers and trolls, the sooner it peters out. Yes, there's always some who will post in haste and regret it afterwards but it doesn't mean the rest of the forum can't go on as normal. Over the years, I've made some good friends on forums and don't see it as a problem when a few members decide to slag each other off. Don't give up on the good guys, just carry on enjoying the forum.
ps, if you tell me it's none of my buisness, it's OK, I'll understand  :)

Welcome to A4All Terrier, what a lovely place to live.  I grew up on the Wirral and Moel Fammau was our nearest good walking place, spent many hours in your area, too many years ago.
