H'organic seed potatoes
« on: December 23, 2008, 13:40:58 »
Yes, I know its Christmas and yes I know I should av done this already but can anyone recommend a supplier please. I'm gonna try grow all I'll use this year and it'll cost a packet, but not as much as I pay in shops now. Anywhere that offered small-mid size bulk buy would be good. Have had the 'joy' (not) of Potato Day at Chase Orgs but wanted to see if you had used other suppliers. I know I could just grow ordinary without chems but prefer to start from the beginning.

you could try http://www.tuckers-seeds.co.uk/ . I've found their service to be excellent when buying seeds from them. They have a few organic potato collections too.

Get yourself a copy of The Organic Gardening Catalogue. They have an excellent choice of seed potatoes as well as other seeds and a whold host of useful things.
