Dwarf/ornamental chillies/peppers
« on: December 02, 2008, 19:52:32 »
In a moment of madness I told the aged mother not to spend £6.50 on a pot pepper as I would grow one for her.

The truth is--I only grow large peppers ,apart from Apache..

It`s seed buying time so ideas please?

Abilty to fruit and heat is not an issue-they just have to `look nice` on  a windowsill

Cleo, would you like some seeds?  I have one called Hot Patio Sizzle - 'highly ornamental plants with lots of hot and spicy small peppers' that is 'compact and bushy' and 'ideal for patio pots or the kitchen windowsill'  I've not grown it myself (and probably won't) so I could send you some seeds.

Can highly recommend Hot Patio Sizzle. I've grown it for a couple of years now and it's very ornamental - if you can keep your hands off the fruits of course!
