Well, I've just had a good few minutes looking at your album Mr.f...one burning question = where are the pics of your failures? ;D

Love the pollys and the cloches (blue piping?) and do you make your pots out of paper, and...how many are you feeding? The lottie looks 'normous :P

Also love the pic of your helper 8)

Any work in progress for next year, or have you got the basic structure sorted now?

Thanks everso for sharing the album. Loved it.

My apologies for the late reply ive been trying out Vista on my puter,
now im back on XP.

Hmm failures,  7or8inch high pea plants, pulled them out (due i think to the woodchip in the manure being to fresh )

Polytunnels first site turning into a swamp,

First lot of onions bolted (arent the centers hard),

Wife planted a second lot of peas inside the bean canes (beans being on the outside) Weeds grow faster than peas  lost them as well,

I bought/ buy peatpots at wilkinsons at the end of the season when there half price or cheaper for the following year,

Theres just the two of us and the helper who grows his own carrots, But i have a lot of neighbours in our age bracket( im 62 wifes retired) and they
appreciate  a carrier of salad stuff.

Work in progress? A windbreak come bean / pea climbing whatsit to cut down the wind to the polytunnels.

The plot size.... the beds and sheds are in one plot , the plot next door is so wet that the secretary wrote it of ,and said ifn you can use any of it feel free so the tunnels went on it,the pond ,the seat, the wild patch, and my water gathering system (Spring water comes up out of the ground, In 12 month ive not used a tap yet)

I think that answers the questions.
