WILL HE WON'T HE?
« on: November 13, 2008, 17:10:22 »
The Prince of Wales is knocking on a bit now. Do you reckon he will ever be crowned King.

Shame if he ain't.

I'm not really a royalist, but I really like him, I like his values, I think he had a rough time with the tabloids & he's not afraid to say what he thinks... in common with everyone I've ever got on well with!

So personally I hope so too!

If our Queen lives as long as her mother,he Will be a very old king.

I respect the Queen She has always put duty first and has always behaves impeccably.A hard act to follow.

Charles appears nice enough,I think he does a lot of good work,The Princes Trust. He is really into horticulture, which I like.

Pity he cheated on his wife.It makes me question his character.

To be honest ,I get the impression that Charles is happier where he is - on the sidelines so to speak.

Do like him to an extent, he's sensitive,  but couldn't cope with his marriage,  needs a mother figure
and the way he always fiddles with his signet ring or cufflinks when on the spot - gives the impression
that he is insecure,  not got what I call King material.

Think I would be happier [ if still here ]  if Wills took over, think he is made of sterner stuff .

Love our Queen, how she's kept  her sense of humour all these years I can't imagine,  love the
look she gave Prs  Bush when he got the dates wrong in a speech outside the Whitehouse, the lady
has strength and a huge ammount of guts.

I expect you will find that is an inbred trait with all royals. Go right back in history and it seems a 'bit on the side'
was the order of the day.

Ther are even rumours about Phil the Greek when he was younger.

Let us not forget his wife also cheated on him, not just one bloke but 3/4,
he did cheat yes but with one woman , the love of his life.

I think he would make a very caring King. He is a very sensitive man.

He should never have got married if he didn't love Diana and wanted to stay true to her.  He should have had the courage of his convictions and stand up against his parents.  I have no respect for him what so ever and can't stand Camilla (or whoever she is). I do feel a bit sorry for them all as they don't seem to live in the real world, so we really need any of them.

It's interesting that Charles was 'shagging Camilla' in a railway siding whilst engaged to
Diana. But Hey! own up to all you peeps that did digress?

I don't think the queen thinks he would make a good king or she would of stepped down by now.

She said she would never abdicate, I think this has something to do with
what her uncle did to her father.

If he hadn't, we wouldn't have William (who I think will be the next monarch). Not that I care one way or the other.

I don't think he will be King.  The Queen knows he wouldn't get the public's support where  Prince William would.  As support for the royals is on the decline probably her only option.

I'll know he's a man of the people when I see him use his new bus pass.

When she goes i hope no one takes over and that's the end of that lot, they are a waste of space and should have been got rid of years ago.
