Desperately seeking allotment in Long Eaton, Notts
« on: November 09, 2008, 15:33:29 »
Hi everybody! This is my first post on this forum, and I just wanted to introduce myself.

I moved to this area in August and am getting so frustrated trying to find an allotment. I'm on the waiting list for 3 council sites and one private one, but no luck so far.
The council are so unhelpful and rude it's unbelievable, after all we pay they wages!

I used to have two 10 rod plots, side by side, in Salisbury, from 2000 to 2003, but then went to work abroad and had to give them up. When I returned in 2007 I had a short wait and then got a neglected 5 rod plot which I knocked into shape and started planting. Then we moved up here and I had to give that one up!

All I want to do is get growing again!!

Rant over..... I feel better now
