Sorry - I can't see anything wrong with it. The picture is small but looks OK to me?

The image printed on the tin suggests a selection of 8 types of turkish delight the contents appear to be all one type.
Click on the pictures to see them full size.

At the factory I went to you could choose your own selection - I didn't bother :-\
Why can't they make it like Fry's do....covered in lovely chocolate with not much of the chewy stuff in the centre? Now, that's OK 8)

I didn't like the turkish delight they sell in Turkey. I love the rose and lemon that you get at Christmas.

I just love the turkish delight you used to be able to get in a round wooden box and it was not flavered, don't seem to be able to buy it anymore.

Usually flavoured with rose water Borlotti. I've had a go at making my own but not as nice as the one I think Borlotti means. Was it Lings?
Disappointing for you Tim, just close your eyes and think of England. ;D

It doesn't seem to be what it shows on the picture. A long way to go to take it back and complain though innit?
Glad you are up and running again. Tim
I noticed when we were in Cyprus that they had Cyprus delight (they don't like the Turks in the Greek part) and on the box was the list of ingredients.
Water sugar corn starch and flavouring.
Having a friend who has a diabetic child we quickly found that we could make him a sort of turkish delight with sweeteners and the icing sugar used for the covering (to stop it sticking together) can be substituted with ground up marvel. Ordinary dried milk was a little gritty.

What a shame! But I love turkish delight - especially the fresh stuff you could get from Turkish bakers in North London, delicate, fresh, sometimes with almonds in .... YUM :)
