Musical Allotments
« on: October 31, 2008, 13:07:23 »
Over the summer a few friends were idly talking about allotments and as we sat there guitars in hand thought we should pen a song dedicated to the allotment. This is what we came up with this (put the link into your tool bar and click)

http://the3gits.tripod.com/lovemyallotment/

I wonder if anyone else has any musical links related to allotments?

We'd love to know what you think of our little ditty! It's called "LOVE PIE!"

All the best

Johnt

In addition to http://the3gits.tripod.com/lovemyallotment/ Here are a few postings from elsewhere...

My weee little garden, my lottie, my soil
It takes all my money, my hardwork and toil
But when I see tatties pulled out from the ground
Knowing my work has paid off by the pound
I sit and admire the work I have done
for a lottie fanatic, dont get time on his bum. Laughing

Dafft I know but it just sprung into my head when I read the post
will go look at the link if its working

I aint but I know someone who has, and one you could say is just for me. Can't remember who first posted the link but here is again...

Excellent song.  I can imagine warm summer evenings on your plot are a wonderfully mellow affair.  Can I come?
