Other than when I post a question (very often quite simple ones) direct to the forums I also refer to  TeeGees Gardeners Almanac, in my humble opinion everything is explained that even a gardening dope like me can understand.
Whatever subject is being discussed there will always be different ideas. Who is to say who is right or wrong. Whatever suits.
Nothing to do with gardening but years ago when we first started keeping/breeding pigs my late husband bought several books. One expert would say wean the young at so many weeks, next expert would differ by as much as 4 weeks. So again through experimenting you find what best works for you.
:-X

I'm a 'garden dope' then and proud to be one.

I find Tee Gee's website useful though I wouldn't use it exclusively. You'd have to be a bit blinkered not take every bit of info you find and see if you works for you before saying it's rubbish.
flunky" a garden dope" is a gardening idiot. Lorna's description of her self not mine.
Flunky if you really want see me in bad mood  wait till I get over my cold.

Okay TGG read that sequence very carefully.....then tell us where Lorna described herself as a dope? Because I can't see it.

I've had to be reminded recently (by a respected poster on here)... There's an ignore button for a reason. Some people will always feel that because they can hide behind a keyboard it's okay to be rude to everyone. We came in peace, we tried, we've failed & it's time to quit when you end up justifying yourself to a moron.

Hi folk would just like to say sorry to timf. I found your chart very useful.
Would also like to say thanks for mail and PM's I have received.
I can assure you that any remarks made by TGG just went over my head, couldn't be bothered to reply.
I shall continue to visit TeeGees Almanac for advice.

Lorna absolutely no need to apologise to me, You haven't done anything wrong or been impolite to anyone.

the chart i posted was to be used as a basis as one of the most commonly asked question on our site from beginners is how far apart should they go? As with most things the spacings can be tweaked for personal preference eg plant the caulis closer together to get smaller heads etc.
I find that in all things some people will freely offer advice based on what works for them eg tee gee and others will always try to shout them down but never offer there own work for examination. I feel that TGG should either put up or shut up as he has had nearly 1 month to reformat his chart so it can be shared with everyone.

rosebud I came this site to discuss gardening not to be insulted by a bunch ignorant people.

Just for the record the words themselves were printed correctly but the particular sentiments encoded therein were judged to be
1 highly personal
2 casting doubt on the parentage and breeding of the recipients
3 advising anatomically impossible acts
4 otherwise offensive and not suitable for public exposure

may be you and you idiot friends should clear off since you are empty barrels.
I suggest the following.

Just for the record the words themselves were printed correctly but the particular sentiments encoded therein were judged to be
1 highly personal
2 casting doubt on the parentage and breeding of the recipient  (with possible species issues)
3 advising anatomically impossible acts
4 otherwise offensive and not suitable for public exposure

rose I reported you earlier.
You have no basis to complain since you started by insulting me.
Now go back under the rock you crawled out from under.
