As we are moving and trying to empty the freezer..dinner has to be the first thing the hand touches when we lift the lid!!

Yesterday I made a 6litre pot of spaghetti sauce to use up extra toms so we had pasta last night, the rest went in the freezer LOL.

Today I am cooking duck with an orange wine sauce and using frozen aparagus from the lottie and other veggies, dessert is Banoffi Pie.

Have just cooked and eaten................Roast pork loin, sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, roast potatoes, new potatoes, mashed swede, roast parsnips, brussel sprouts, calabrese and gravy.

It was delicious.  My sunday roasts are not guarantee'd but this one was good :)

Just had squash soup made with one of my Sucrine de Berry squahs and a cheese scone.

Had this yesterday as well as made a batch of soup on Sunday......but just as good on Day 2. I have enough left for Weds and Thurs though - so see if I still love it by Friday.  ::)  Celeriac soup next week  ;D

Pork tenderloin thinly sliced, tossed in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika, gently fried in olive oil until sealed. Thinly sliced garlic added until softened, added about a desert spoonful of the seasoned flour to soak up the oil, then a little vegetable stock and single cream. Served over pasta.

Only a few calories  ::)

Resurrecting an old thread but, hey ho, another season starts!

Having had a hearty weekend with steak, mushroom and ale casserole and cricket teas, darling hubby wanted something light after me picking more peas!

So it was (Lester's) pea omelette on the menu tonight  :)
