Somebody has advised me to fill some tights with hair and leave around the garden to deter foxes.Am I a victim of Beadles about or does this really work? Has anybody got any other ideas for the problem?

Never heard than one before but I've heard that lion poo keeps them away. You can buy boxes of it in my local garden centre - honest!

I have heard that one and my mother tried it in her plant pots and I think it sort of worked for a while.
Male urine works as well - I have used to stop foxes trying to dig up a rockery and that certainly seemed to work.

I can just see a picture of you trying to urinate on the foxes.  Enough to put anyone off.

Also important - remember to turn the security lighting off before unzipping!

There are no security lights and if we ever saw a policeman near the allotments it would be a miracle!
