I have just tried to order and it says  £4.95 for the product,   and £3.95 for P+P.  Totalling £8.20.  Is there a code?

it still comes up as £8.20 in the shopping basket even though it says it is free when you add it in. maybe it depends on buying something else?

Ah it's for GW magazine readers so presumably you need a code from the mag.

I just tried it and found when I added another item it worked. The other item I added was a freebie too so I just had to pay p&p for both items!

Hope this makes sense, it didn't when I first wrote it  ;D

That's weird texas.  I ordered only the bulbs and paid £4.25.  I've put them in my basket again and it's still £4.25.  Not sure if it would let me complete another order though, it's usually one per household.  Had another look at the mag and there is a phone order number with a code 0844 5736054 (quote GW968).

if anyone's still got last Saturday's Guardian (or it might be on the website), there was an offer of 125 mixed bulbs for just 2.69 p&p.They're from Van Meuwen.

It's a strange one. When I put them in my basket on their own it added £4.25 for the bulbs and £3.99 p&p. When I also added the free lavender collection it deleted all p@p charges and quoted an item price of £7.24 for both. This is the total p&p quoted for both items.
Maybe the site is being a little tempremental today  ::) Either way still good bargains.

Hi Ceres,

Just tried it and it has added another £3.95 P&P same as Texas01. I also added the free lavender selection but it still added the 3.95 p&p.

Perhaps it needed that GW968 code.

Regards,

I didn't use the code Mushy Pea.  Did it work for you when you entered the code?

I ordered them last week paying the £8.20        I also emailed T&M highlighting the advert and checkout problem overcharging.  Received an email yesterday saying they are crediting my account with the £3.95 over charge.   ;)

Here are all the 'Guardian Garden Centre' special offers:
http://www.guardiangardencentre.co.uk/Index.cfm?fuseaction=category.specialoffers&category_id=0&page=1

Great price for clematis montana, collection of 3 for £1.95, and raspberry canes - 10 for £5.45 (I didn't check the p&p) - I'm very tempted, except that my husband is already losing patience with the amount of cuttings I've amassed, given that we're moving house in 3 weeks. Better wait till we've moved!
