I threw the used-one-time elderberry must into a cranberry-raspberry juice blend...will be interesting to see what THAT tastes like because in reading the fine print there are many other juices in the bottle also.

Steve the Mango and apple wine is ready now.
Its ok a bit light on alcohol (yes I did add extra sugar) but very fruity still and I can taste the mango.

I made it very dry so next time I may add a sweetener and a white wine enhancer, you know the little tins of juice you get from home brew shops as I would like to store some of it and as it is now its a bit 'thin' to do that.

Its worth making for drinking straight away, nice and light and fruity.

We took a bottle of my "Elderberry Elixir IV" I called it to my dad's 97th birthday party in Michigan last week. It was a big hit- everyone looked absolutely shocked when they tasted it wanting seconds.
It was half elderberry from our own berries and half concord grape juice wine from bottled juice.
A dessert wine which I'll definitely make again ;D
Today I'll bottle the cranberry since it has cleared.

The Basil/white grape juice wine is still cloudy and GREEN ewww! Not sure I'll like that color.

Green? Sounds great to me! I always like the Spanish and Italian young white wines that have a hint of green to them.
Maybe save it up for St. Patrick's day. :-D
