Fingers crossed
« on: September 17, 2008, 09:31:30 »
Tony and I are due to fly to Tunisia on Sunday for a  fortnights all inclusive holiday (hic, hic) Last time we were due to go away with Mom, she had a bad turn so we were advised not to go. This time its only ourselves to think about so hopefully we will be on that plane on Sunday. Have harvested most of the beetroot and Tony's gonna store it in sand today. Beans are finished at last. We are hoping that the weather keeps fine here cos we haven't had a single sweetcorn yet this year.Have posted this today cos I'm in a bit of a chaos at the moment what with packing and leaving the nest nice and clean just in case anyone breaks in.lol. Don't ask me why I do it. It's a woman thing.Like having clean pants on in case you get knocked down.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Shirlton, I'm the other end of the tidiness spectrum.  I leave the 'junk room untidy, and don't make much effort in the rest of the house.  Anybody looking through the windows would think the place had already been 'done over', and nothing left to nick.

It doesn't take long when you get back to put it all back in order. ;D ;D

Last day today to get things done, Must finish packing those cases. I'm sure that wardrobe full of stuff ain't gonna go in them there cases. Took Mom out to dinner yesterday but she wasn't very well. Tony had to eat 2 dinners.lol. Have looked on metcheck and we are due for some fantastic thunderstorm in Tunusia during the first week. I really do like the rain.
