Another butternut question
« on: September 14, 2008, 18:52:41 »
Hi everyone, my butternut squash plants have loads of really small fruit on them (some only a couple of inches). Would it be worth covering them in fleece & hoping they grow bigger or is it too late for any real crop to develop? Thanks for any advice

By all means try, but a lot will depend on the weather for the next few weeks and where you are in the UK.

You might be better taking some of the fruit off and let the plant concerntrate on feeding 3 or 4 of them, thats my opion but I'd wait until someone of butternut knowledge comes along.  JEANNINE   HELP   :o     ;D ;D ;D
